Who are we?

We are a startup in Brussels called Neuroventis , focused on re-thinking healthcare and providing technology that empowers patients with chronic disorders. We believe that our healthcare system is not focused (enough) on patients with chronic diseases and believe that technology can provide significant relief for both patients and physicians. We’ve developed two applications, one called Helpilepsy, which supports patients with epilepsy and neurologists better understand their situation and have more control in their lives. The other app is MigraneManager, supporting patients with headache.

Your responsibilities

As a Trainee in QMS, you will be supporting our Quality Lead in all activities related to Quality, conformity, and compliance. The main focus of your internship will the on the topic of compliance to the medical devices regulation (EU) 2017/745.

Some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for:

  • Support on management of the QMS according to the EN ISO 13485, Directive 93/42

  • Handling of HR admin tasks (payroll, fleet, holiday…)

  • Support supplier’s assessment for critically and audit according to the company program

  • Supports activities for CE marking of Neuroventis product as well as maintaining the documentation up to date when changes to the products occur, dealing with notifications and amendments when required

  • Update of the QMS to be compliant with the new regulation 2017/745

  • Report any need for improvement of the QMS and company organization

  • Supports activities for external and internal audits

Your profile

We are looking for a person that is passionate and curious about Quality Assurance in the Medical device’s domain. You are a self-driven and motivated person, who can manage his/her time and projects independently.

Ideally, you are someone that

  • Has a background / master’s degree in Quality Assurance

  • Has proficient knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications

  • Is organized, quick, efficient, honest, independent and solution-oriented

  • Is focused on quality and detail

  • Speaks and writesEnglish fluently

  • Has an internship agreement by the university
